DIY Digital: Video Guide

This video provides a walkthrough for Qualified Administrators on how to create, customize, and launch a Develop-It-Yourself (DIY) Digital experience. It demonstrates the complete setup process, from building a new DIY Digital guide to inviting learners and tracking engagement through the Utilization Dashboard.

Video Overview and Steps #

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

1. Navigate to Digital Talent Tools → Develop-It-Yourself Digital.
2. Review available resources on the landing page, including the step-by-step instruction list and video replay option.
3. Select Create Digital DIY to begin.
4. In Step 1, choose your Organization, name your DIY Digital Guide, and add an optional description.
5. Identify who the DIY Digital will be deployed to, whether an individual or a group.
6. Select who will choose the Roles and Practices, either the Qualified Administrator or the Learner.
7. In Step 2, select your KSA Library (Leaders, Managers, or Individual Contributors) and confirm your selection.
8. Choose the Roles and Practices to include in the DIY Digital experience, then click Save Selected Roles and Practices.
9. In Step 3, add learners individually by entering their name and email, or bulk upload a larger list using the provided template.
10. Include an optional custom message to personalize invitations.
11. Review all learner details before sending invitations.
12. Send invitations individually or to all learners at once.
13. Access the Utilization Dashboard to view participation and engagement details, including learner progress, activity frequency, and total time on site.
